The Latin American Health Science Student Success Initiative (LAHSSSI) is housed within LANMU and it aims to provide academic and general support to Latin American/Latinx students in the Faculty of Health Sciences or with interests in the Health Sciences/Medicine at McMaster.

LAHSSSI's Objectives
To create a community at McMaster to promote essential research and academic skills, strengthen academic English language skills, and to develop research networks and psychosocial support for Latin American/Latinx students in the Health Sciences.
Our aim is to achieve this through multiple sessions over the 2023-24 academic year and continue this into the following year.
