Established in the summer of 2021, LANMU is comprised of students, staff, and faculty who have various ties to Latin America and its diasporas.
The Latinx/Latin American community at McMaster is composed of diverse multilingual, multi-religious, multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multicultural, and plurinational communities.
Launched in 2022 in partnership with Dr. Kim Dej, Vice Provost Teaching and Learning, the Arts and Science Program, the INSPIRE Office of Flexible Learning, and the Latin American Network at McMaster University (LANMU).
