Call for Contributors

Entre Mundos provides an inclusive platform for students to explore the region’s histories, cultures, politics, environments, and scientific contributions through both academic and creative work. We welcome interdisciplinary submissions from all faculties.

Entre Mundos accepts original research articles, reviews, commentaries, editorials, creative writing, and visual artwork from undergraduate and graduate students across Canada. By bringing together work from various disciplines, we aim to spark critical thinking and amplify research centering on Latin America and its diaspora.

Call for First Issue, Spring 2026

Entre Mundos is a student-led, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to showcasing diverse perspectives and research related to Latin America and Latin American communities worldwide. We invite undergraduate and graduate students from Canadian universities to submit original research papers, creative writing, and visual art for our upcoming issue.  Our mission is to provide an inclusive platform for interdisciplinary dialogue that bridges the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, amplifying Latinx, Indigenous, and Afro-descendant voices often underrepresented in academic discourse.

We welcome submissions that explore the region’s histories, cultures, politics, environments, and scientific contributions, encouraging works that foster equity, collaboration, and cultural awareness.  We encourage submissions that engage with, but are not limited to:

  • Public health and healthcare systems
  • Migration and diaspora identities
  • Indigenous and Afro-descendant knowledge and resistance
  • Language, literature, and cultural expression
  • Social and political movement.
